Research Activities:

His current research activities are primarily focused on interventional and diagnostic radiology in the field of oncology.

Specific areas of interest include:

• Percutaneous thermal ablation treatments for thyroid and cervical lesions, liver tumors, and renal tumors.
• Hepatic embolizations, including embolizations with microparticles and radio embolization.
• Dr. Mauri also explores the application of image fusion techniques to interventional oncological procedures.
• Use of contrast-enhanced ultrasound in oncological and thyroid contexts.

Member of various national and international scientific societies and editorial committees of scientific journals.

Teaching Activities:

Teaching activities at the University of Milan for the School of Specialization in Radiodiagnostics, Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Radiology, Imaging, and Radiotherapy, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Integrated Biomedical Research Doctorate, and Clinical Research Doctorate.

Advisor and co-advisor of bachelor’s and master’s degree theses.

Tutor for medical professionals in specialized training at the School of Specialization in Radiodiagnostics.

Responsible for elective courses at the University of Milan.

Lecturer for seminars for the Integrated Biomedical Research Doctorate.
