He currently is Head of the Endocrinology Unit of Azienda USL Modena and Contract Professor at the School of Specialization in Endocrinology of the Catholic University of Rome.
He graduated in Medicine with 110/110 cum laude from the Catholic University of Rome in 1994, and has become a Specialist in Endocrinology and Metabolism with 50/50 cum laude at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in 1999.
In his professional life, he has acquired particular experience in the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid diseases. He is a member of the MITT, the Italian group for minimally invasive thyroid treatments, having gained experience in laser thermal ablation and radiofrequency procedures for thyroid nodules.
He is the author of numerous scientific publications in high impact national and international medical journals.
He was Testimonial at the Senate of the Italian Republic in 2017 for the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Italian Constitution. Protagonist of the video “Of healthy principles”, he read and commented on the art. 32 of the Constitution in the video and during the ceremony held at Palazzo Giustiniani on 12.27.2017, in the presence of the President of the Senate and the Senators who attended the ceremony.
